On moonlit nights, the statues were said to come to life, strolling through the orchard, illuminating the night and ensuring a bountiful harvest.

And in 1937 next to Silajāņu (Solujeny) manor started construction of a new two-storey stone building.
Now Apple Manor & Garden complex consist of 2 building - the charming old historical manor and the elegant stone building from 1939.
